Breath-hold course for freedivers and complete beginners
Master Your
Breath-Hold in 7-Days
Achieve a longer, calmer breath-hold
A 7-day at-home training programme built on the nervous system techniques we use as freediving instructors to hold our breath for over 4 minutes. No water, no equipment, no experience needed.
A lot of people won’t learn to freedive because they’re afraid they can’t hold their breath long enough. In reality, most healthy adults can hold for 2+ minutes with training, you just need to know how.
Master your breath-hold for only £25
A 7-day at-home breath-hold course created by AIDA freediving instructors Immy and Joe. Built around nervous system regulation, relaxation and the mental side of breath-holding — not just tables and pushing harder. This course is perfect preparation for a freediving course, or to continue your training, perfect for total beginners up to intermediate levels.
No water, no equipment, no experience needed. Just a calm, structured week of training that teaches you how your body actually works, and leaves you with the tools and a personalised plan to keep improving long after day 7. See noticeable results within one week.
These are the methods we actually use for our own training.
Every technique in this course is something we use in our own training. It’s backed by theory and AIDA certified instructors — it’s what we have seen work, with ourselves and with the students we teach.

Who’s this course for?
…no, you don’t need to be a freediver!
Are you….
Thinking about freediving?
Breath-hold training is one of the best things you can do before taking your first freediving course. You will arrive already understanding your body and feeling far more comfortable underwater.
You might also want to train your breath for adventure freediving, to stay down longer with the wildlife…
Maximising sports performance?
Breath-hold training builds CO₂ tolerance, improves oxygen efficiency and trains the mind to stay calm under pressure. Useful for swimmers, surfers, runners and athletes of all kinds.
Building resilience?
Breath-holding has similar benefits to those achieved through practices such as yoga and meditation.
Learning to stay relaxed when your body is telling you to panic is a skill that transfers beyond. This course is as much a mental training tool as a physical one.

“I’ve never tried breath holds before but I loved this course because it taught me a lot and was easy to follow. I’m not a freediver but it’s got me interested in learning. I definitely noticed that I feel calmer now because of the tools I learnt. And my breath hold did increase too!”

“Wow, I actually doubled my breath-hold in one week. Now I can hold my breath for three minutes! And my nervous system has never been so calm. Amazing.”

What you’ll learn
What happens in your body
The urge to breathe, contractions, the fear response and the thoughts that come with it. When you understand what is actually happening, it stops feeling like something to fear and starts feeling manageable.
How to regulate your nervous system
This is the foundation of this course. Your nervous system state determines your breath-hold more than fitness or lung capacity does. You will learn specific tools to shift into a calmer state before and during a breath hold.
The mental game
The thing stopping most people is not their body… it is the voice in their head mid-breath-hold. You will learn how to work with that voice rather than fight it, using techniques grounded in psychology.
